Impact of language proficiency on how teachers feedback on student’s performance
Recently teachers in Honkong looked at the impact of language proficiency on how teachers feedback, particularly on writing. And they found that teachers with limited language proficiency tend to look at the grammatical features of the text especially on writing, while teachers with more advance level of language proficiency looked at the whole thing, things like coherence, cohesion, organization, etc.
